Designed to meet the automated metrology requirements of mechanical parts, electronic devices, dies & molds and medical devices.The new iNEXIV VMA-2520 has been expressly designed for three-dimensional workpieces. Though compact and lightweight in design, it provides a long 200mm Z-axis stroke and a 73.5mm working distance, enabling easy Z-axis measurement of mechanical parts, plastic injection molding parts, metal press parts, electronic devices, dies & molds and medical devices. The standard 10x zoom optics meets the industryfs demanding needs for superb resolution at high magnifications while offering a wide field of view at low magnifications. Low distortion optics and high intensity white LED illumination sources improve contrast to enhance throughput. This combination assures reproducible measurements even for colorful parts.

    Nikon has drawn on its state-of-the-art digital technologies to produce a highly affordable automated measurement system. The iNEXIV VMA-2520fs design is optimized for easy use as well as repeatable and accurate measurement of 3D parts.
  • Compact and lightweight
    The iNEXIV VMA-2520 is a powerful bench top system designed to use minimum factory floor space. The main body has a footprint of only 565mm W x 690mm D x 740mm H (computer and controller separate) and weighs only 72kg (158.7 lb), yet it still has a 250mm x 200mm x 200mm measuring capability.
  • Long working distance
    The newly developed optical system features a super long 73.5mm working distance for all magnifications. This allows sufficient three dimensional clearance for Z-axis measurements even at high magnification.
  • Sophisticated VMA AutoMeasure software
    This new versatile software has been developed exclusively for the VMA-2520. It provides various functions to easily conduct tasks ranging from setup, teaching programs and measurements, to evaluations.
  • High-speed, highly-accurate Laser AF (optional)
    In addition to the standard Vision AF, an optional high-speed Laser AF with a long 63mm working distance is available. It provides fast focusing and Z-axis measurements regardless of the surface shape of your workpiece.
  • Touch probing measurement (optional)
    The iNEXIV VMA-2520 accepts the Renishaw TP20 system, making 3D parts measurement much easier.

The standard model of the NEXIV series with 300 x 200 mm stage stroke. It handles a variety of measurement tasks including those for mechanical parts, molded parts and various other workpieces.

  • Variety of illumination choices facilities accurate detection of edges in molded parts.
  • 3 models (type: 1,2,3) with 5-step zoom magnification to cover different fields of view and resolution requirements.
  • Long working distance (50mm) permits measurement of parts with large height variances.
  • 15X zoom provides wide field of view for rapid search and high magnification for accurate measurement. Accurate calibration at all magnifications allows rapid field of view measurements of multiple parameters.

iNEXIV VMR Series

MM-200

MM-200 can offer not only lower price but also high accuracy which is the same as Nikon' s current MM400/800 models. In addition, its space-saving & compact design allows the instrument to be used right on the shop floor and the production site.

  • No stage installation work is necessary and the footprint is reduced by 50% compared to the current MM series since the stage is built in the main body.
  • The same traveling accuracy is obtained as the current MM400/800 series and still more lightweight, compact, and at a lower cost.
  • No halogen bulb needs to be changed and light source running cost is reduced since both diascopic and episcopic illuminators employ high intensity white LED light source.

In combination with Nikon’s digital still camera, DS-2Mv, the new E-MAX series software provides state-of-the-art image processing technology. Automated edge detection with sub-pixel processing enables more precise and repeatable measurement. Effectively used in conjunction with a measuring microscope/profile projector, the new E-MAX series software provides the user with various advanced measurements and processing functions, ranging from two-dimensional data processing and image measurements, to data storage.

DP-E1

New DP-E1 data processor has been developed to improve accuracy and efficiency as a measuring system. A 0.1µm-reading counter display is built into the compact body. The 320 x 240-pixel LCD greatly improves ease of use.
Effectively used in combination with a measuring microscope/profile projector, it quickly calculates and processes measurement data.
*To use with DP-E1 with Profile Projector models, V-24B, V-12B, or V-12BS, a retrofit Unit is required as an interface.

The ShuttlePix P-400R allows the observer to inspect in a conventional way but also record samples that are difficult or impossible to observe under a conventional microscope. An object can be inspected on site and in it’s correct position without any risk of damaging it.
